 the word  image  is synonymous with reflection, i.e. neither identical nor true.

        ..Hence for Homo sapiens, one of innumerable life-filled creatures; to self-confer Divine lineage; not only demonstrates lack of  grasp of Divine Omni-ness: 

it belittles / defiles / debases, His Divinity.
